Fresh from the success of his last sold-out course with us, his UK tour and his amazing new book of poetry (his 15th to date!); poet, songwriter, friend of the house and the man often described as the “Spanish Leonard Cohen,” Gabriel Moreno returns for a two-day immersive writing workshop, Your Life in Song.
Guided by Gabriel’s sensitive and empowering teaching style, you’ll learn to transform your life into song. He’ll gently encourage you to use real-life experience, quotidian imagery, dreams and other subconscious material to infuse your writing, and guide you in uncovering and developing your own personal take on reality and creativity. Remarkably, you don’t need any kind of musical experience to take part.
Elements of Gabriel’s previous course held at MHH will be included but, with the addition of new exercises and directives, the course is suitable for both new and returning participants.

Some of the reviews from previous attendees of Gabriel’s course:
‘A fabulous course. I’ve learnt so much. Actually felt like a musician for the first time!! Company wonderful and the soup.’
‘An incredible course – A home of artistic growth, support and love. I’ll definitely be back.’
-
The course will take place at Makers’ House Hastings on Wednesday 8th & Thursday 9th April from 10am until 5pm.
