Meeting Your Subconscious - 16th - 18th October

from £105.00

"Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will direct your life and you will call it fate." — Carl Jung

Your subconscious mind is a source of great wisdom. Connecting with it can reveal powerful insights and hidden strengths.

This three-day course will use a mixture of hypnotherapeutic and theatrical techniques to illustrate how the unconscious mind makes itself present in our everyday lives, and to teach how we might calm the mind in order to make the unconscious a more active participant in our choices.

"Awareness is the greatest agent for change." — Eckhart Tolle

The workshop is led by Co-director of the house, Chris New, and therapeutic coach and hypnotherapist Charley Surridge, and will combine a carefully balanced mixture of group work and one-to-one time for reflection and integration. You’ll engage in hypnotic guided meditations and theatrical games, including work with masks, as you explore the character of your own Subconscious and begin to develop your connection with your true self.

‘It was a thrilling experience, both emotional and stimulating. Charlie and Chris worked seamlessly together. The gentle querying was just the right challenge to connect to the inner life already there.’ Deidre, Workshop Participant

The workshop will take place at Makers’ House Hastings on Friday 16th - Sunday 18th October, 10am - 5pm.

We now offer a Pay What You Choose pricing model. This acts as a form of honesty box, allowing you to choose the fee that feels right for your circumstances when you book.

We want our courses to be as accessible as possible, but at the same time, we are committed to paying our artists fairly. If you're able to choose a higher price point, please do — your support will make a world of difference.

If you need help finding reasonably priced accommodation, or you would like to attend the course but the cost is prohibitive, then please email us here so we can discuss local accommodation offers or if our bursary scheme might be able to help.
