Screens — whether big or small — have increasingly become the dominant medium for actors. This two-day workshop will introduce you to exactly what’s required to craft a performance for the screen, and it’s led by Makers’ House co-director — and star of the film Weekend — Chris New.
Whether it’s hitting your marks, getting the right eye-line, or negotiating continuity across shots, this course will introduce you to all the tools you’ll need on any film set, big or small.
All participants will be asked to prepare a scene in advance, guided by Chris, so you can get the most out of your two days before the camera.
The workshop will take place at Makers’ House Hastings on Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th October, 10am - 5pm.
