Mahjong is the captivating Chinese game of skill, luck and strategy that has engaged players for over 100 years. A little like Gin Rummy, you aim to gather pairs and trios of the wonderfully tactile tiles, all in the hope of being able to call “Mahjong!”
We’re opening up the Makers’ House regular Mahjong group to offer an introduction to the game. You’ll be introduced to the table, the tiles and the various levels of gameplay and take your first dip into a fascinating and addictive pastime. But unlike in China, we only play for counters, not hard cash.
The introduction will take place at Makers’ House Hastings on 20th May, 7:00pm - 9:30pm
