If you’ve ever wanted to create a solo show but don’t know where to begin - or you’re already developing one and want a fresh perspective - then this is the workshop for you.
Join the award-winning clown LIL WENKER for a playful, practical workshop focussed on unlocking your fun, finding pleasure onstage and using these inspirations as a means of creating an hour-long show.
This workshop, from the creator of BANGTAIL and BOYKING, is open to performers from many disciplines, including theatre, clown, stand-up, and music. And yes, Lil Wenker is her real name!
The workshop takes place at Makers’ House Hastings from Thursday 8th to Sunday 11th October, 10am to 5pm.
We now offer a Pay What You Choose pricing model. This acts as a form of honesty box, allowing you to choose the fee that feels right for your circumstances when you book.
We want our courses to be as accessible as possible, but at the same time, we are committed to paying our artists fairly. If you're able to choose a higher price point, please do — your support will make a world of difference.
If you need help finding reasonably priced accommodation, or you would like to attend the course but the cost is prohibitive, then please email us here so we can discuss local accommodation offers, or to enquire if our bursary scheme might be able to help.
