Join expert prop maker Elina to create your very own character mask.

Across this hands-on workshop, you’ll be guided step by step through the process: casting your mask, sculpting its features, and finally painting and decorating it—either following one of Elina’s designs or bringing your own unique vision to life.

On day one, you’ll cast your mask from scratch (either directly from your face or using a mould) and sculpt its character features. The masks will then be left to dry for 24 hours.

On day two, you’ll return to paint, decorate, and finish your mask—transforming it into a one-of-a-kind piece that truly comes to life!

Elina trained as a prop maker and scenic design painter.

The course will run at Makers’ House Hastings on Tuesday 11th Nov & Thursday 13th between 6.30pm - 10pm. All materials will be provided. Please wear something that you don’t mind getting mucky as we’ll be using plaster and paints.
