Masks are almost as old as theatre itself. They hold within them the power to both conceal and reveal.
Join our resident house clown, Luka Wellman, and master props maker, Elina Sprude, for this three-day introduction to mask. You will not only discover how powerful and exciting mask work can be in performance, but also learn to create your very own mask—choosing its features and character—to take home with you.
The workshop will take place at Makers’ House Hastings on Friday 3rd until Sunday 5th July, 10am - 5pm. All materials are included.
