Fresh from his year at the world famous clown school Philippe Gaulier and current member of the National Youth Theatre Rep, Luka Wellman joins us to offer an introduction into the modern art of clowning.
This one day introduction to clown will use a variety of exercises and games to help you discover your own clown persona. Based on the teachings of Philippe Gaulier and Jacques Lecoq, we will learn to find a sense of play on stage, build complicité with our fellow clowns and allow ourselves to embrace the ridiculous.
Participants of any experience level welcome - whether new to clowning, acting or both!
The class will run at Makers’ House Hastings Sunday 29th March, 10am - 5pm.
Cost: £40 per person
