Frantic Assembly is one of the UK’s most celebrated companies known for its highly physical and collaborative storytelling and we are thrilled to welcome them to Makers’ House.
Over 3 days you will explore the Frantic Method and develop your physical confidence and awareness, enabling you to be bold and playful in the way that you create your own work.
This course is suitable for those that have little to no experience in the Frantic Method, or wider movement disciplines. For those that do have some experience in movement or physical theatre, this course will still be a worthwhile learning opportunity – consolidating knowledge and building on any prior experience.
The course is highly physical in nature, so all we ask is for you to come ready to lift yourself and others up, physically and mentally. And prepare to get a tad sweaty . . .
The workshop will take place at Makers’ House Hastings on Friday 29th - Sunday 31st January, 10am - 5pm.
We now offer a Pay What You Choose pricing model. This acts as a form of honesty box, allowing you to choose the fee that feels right for your circumstances when you book.
We want our courses to be as accessible as possible, but at the same time, we are committed to paying our artists fairly. To ensure we cover the costs for this workshop, the lower price points are limited. If you're able to choose a higher price point, please do — your support will make a world of difference.
If you need help finding reasonably priced accommodation, or you would like to attend the course but the cost is prohibitive, then please email us here so we can discuss local accommodation offers, or to enquire if our bursary scheme might be able to help.

About Frantic Assemby
From a reckless leap into the unknown 30 years ago, Frantic Assembly has developed into one of the UK's most successful and best loved theatre companies.
Our ambition is that we continue to learn and remain committed to making brave and bold theatre. At times it is physically dynamic and brutal. At others it's proudly tender and fragile.
But Frantic Assembly has always been about more than just the work on stage.
It is about the ethos of collaboration, of empowerment, of that constant desire to improve. It is about telling stories in a voice we don't always hear and about finding talent in places we don't always look.
