Character Building with Rikki Beadle-Blair MBE - 23rd-24th May

£180.00

A practical, creative workshop for writers, actors, and writer-actors on how to build complex, compelling characters that are exciting to invent, watch, and perform.

Rikki Beadle-Blair returns to the house to bring his trademark passion, excitement, and precision to bear on the craft of character creation. Whether you are inventing a character for yourself or interpreting one from a given script, how you approach character—and how you bring it to life—is a vital challenge for all actors and writers.

Join Rikki, one of our most cherished writers and directors, as he gives you wholly practical tools to engage and enthral an audience.

The workshop takes place at Makers’ House Hastings from Saturday 23rd to Sunday 24th May, 10am to 5pm.

If you need help finding reasonably priced accommodation, or you would like to attend the course but the cost is prohibitive, then please email us here so we can discuss local accommodation offers, or to enquire if our bursary scheme might be able to help.
